Road rage? Who…Me?

Road rage? Who…Me? So maybe my wife is right. Maybe I have a little road rage problem every now and then. In reality though, I don’t think my problem isn’t road rage as much as common sense. Here’s what I mean. Below is my common sense bumper sticker ideas.Juan Di Nella-stock snap

  1. If you’re not in a hurry, leave later so that those who are running late can get to their destination on time.
  2. Or If you’re not in a hurry, use the designated slow car lane.
  3. Another favorite is, don’t be in a hurry to get in front of me and then take your time getting where you’re going.
  4. Do we need to set a minimum speed limit along with the max speed limit on every road?

So maybe I do have issues. And yes, maybe I am in denial. But as I thought about these issues (or genius ideas) my first thought was, I’m glad I don’t have some kind of Jesus sticker on the bumper of my car because it probably wouldn’t look good on Him. Then this thought got me thinking even more about how I represent Jesus. Take a moment and think about it. How would people react if I put a Jesus sticker on my forehead much like we put a bumper sticker on a car?

Would people get a confused look because they didn’t see that coming? Or would they acknowledge that the way you live your life says there is something different about you. Are we representing Jesus in a way that He would be honored if we put a sticker on our forehead that said I follow Jesus?

So maybe I do need to come to terms with my driving habits. But more importantly I need to reflect on how I’m living, so that Jesus is honored with my life. How about you? Are there any areas of your life that need to be checked on. Be encouraged scripture says, “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
